The WeDoGolf Pro Am was a great success with 132 golfers and 33 teams competing in the first Pro Am event at Bude Golf Club in over 20 years.
We would like to thank the Pro Am sponsors RGB Building Supplies for their support throughout the event, to St Austell Brewery for supplying the nearest the pin prizes and providing refreshments for all of the players on the 12th tee and to the members and staff at Bude Golf Club for their excellent hospitality on the day.
The individual Pro event was won by Ivybridge Golf Club’s Paul Hendriksen with an exceptional score of -5 66, with St Kew Golf Club’s Richard O’Hanlon in second place on -4 67.
Downes Crediton Golf Club’s Barry Austin and Allinonegolf’s Kevin Pitts came in third place on -3 68.
The team event was won by Clevedon Golf Club’s Professional Ashley Mansell and his amateur partners David Bettridge, Dave Chapman and Kevin Mudge on 88 points.

The next WeDoGolf event is the 2018 Algarve Pro Am Challenge in Portimao, Portugal from Saturday 24th – Wednesday 28th February.
The tournament includes four night’s bed and breakfast at the four star Tivoli Portimao hotel and three rounds of golf at Palmares, Morgado and Alamos.
The first Professional prize will be a minimum of £1,000 and the total Professional prize fund will be in excess of £5,000, based on 20 teams competing in this exciting new event.
There will also be an impressive amateur prize table worth over £1,500 with 20 teams entering.
WeDoGolf can organise golf and airport transfers if required, as well as additional night’s stay and an extra round at any of the three courses for any teams wanting to get some practice in before the event!
The cost to enter a team for the overseas Pro Am Challenge is £399 for amateurs and £150 for Professionals (excluding flights and transfers).
