Tournament Overview

In partnership with our sponsors Westcountry Land , this is your chance to play nine holes of golf, followed by breakfast, and be finished by 9.30 am, before the day starts properly! You enter the competition as a team of two players representing your company or organisationand then across the summer months from June through to September, we are meeting to play at Staddon Heights Golf Club in Plymouth.

The aim is for everyone to play each other team in their division, winning points for a win or a draw and nothing for a loss, culminating in a “finals” day at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club on October 7th 2021,to include a presentation dinner. This is a great chance to meet some new contacts, in a non-hurried environment, with some fresh air and friendly competition thrown in. Each event in the qualifying stages comprises a shotgun start at 7.30 am, played over nine holes, with a breakfast afterwards.

The entry fee of £495 + vat covers for two people the four rounds of golf and breakfast in the preliminary matches at Staddon Heights Golf Club, plus the finals day at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club comprising a coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes of golf on the main championship course, a three course awards dinner and overnight accommodation in twin rooms on a bed and breakfast basis.

The rules are straightforward :

  • Enter a team under either your own name or your business name by contacting simon@wedogolf.com
  • Pay the entry fee via the payment link that will be sent to you
  • On receipt of the dates after you have entered please note them in your diaries
  • If you specifically wish to play against another team, simply ask us in advance and we will arrange this where possible
  • Turn up at 7 am on your match days, ready for some fun competitive golf and a decent breakfast !
  • Make your way to your allocated start tee for a shotgun start at 7.30 am prompt
  • All handicaps and rules are at the sole discretion of Wedogolf Ltd, and our say is final
  • The results table will be published on our website and emailed out after each event is staged
  • Social media feeds will publicise the next dates and confirm the start times each week
  • All points awarded from the preliminary matches will be translated into stableford points for the finals event which will be a betterball stableford competition
  • Overnight accommodation is included at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club to ensure everyone can enjoy a drink after the golf, and at the dinner in the evening the prizes will be awarded
